What is a dot su domain?

Hindsight.su is a domain that eludes the thinking man’s time/space continuum. It resolves to the Soviet Union top level domain, .su in contradiction with ICANN policies. Decommissioned 1990 after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Russian Domain name authority still accepts new registrations (in addition to the more appropriate .ru). It serves us all well to be reminded regularly that the international geopolitical boundaries we bind ourselves to cannot be mapped by force to a medium that spans multiple concepts of abstraction and metaphor.

What are your best pieces of finished work I should look at?

At the ITP spring show of 2008, I presented a prototype for a networked wildfire detection system named Epimetheus (link). At the fall show I was a member of a group that developed an iPhone Scavenger hunt game named Geogeni.us (link)
